I renounce that I am quick tempered.

I declare Galatians 5:22, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

 

I renounce that I “run off” with anyone who gives me attention.

I declare Galatians 5: 23, “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

 

I renounce my past and condemnation.

I declare Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

 

I renounce that I am going to be alone.

I declare Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

 

I renounce that when I pray I can’t focus and I get lost.

I declare Jeremiah 29: 12-13, “Then, you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart…”

 

I renounce that if I lay down my baggage, that I won’t have anything left.

I declare Matthew 16:24-25, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me for whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

 

I renounce that I am abandoned.

I declare Deuteronomy 32:10, “He found him in a desert land. And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircles him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.”

 

I renounce that I have to figure it all out.

I declare Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

 

I renounce that if I mess up, my peers and God won’t love me.

I declare 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given me a Spirit of fear, but power and of love and of a sound mind.” I declare Micah 7:18-20, “Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast our sins Into the depths of the sea.”

I declare Ephesians 1:3, “…He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praises of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” I declare that I am chosen because He loves me, not my performance.

 

I renounce that I can’t wait on God to do it and that I want it now.

I declare James 1:4-6, “…let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing…”

 

I renounce that I won’t finish what I started.

I declare, Philippians 1:6, “…being confident of this very thing, that He who has began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

 

I renounce that I am addicted to cigarettes.

I declare Galatians 5:1, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty where with Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

 

I renounce that I am bitter.

I declare Matthew 6:14, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”

 

*I declare that God is my husband and He says in Hebrews 13:5 that “He will never leave me nor forsake me.”*
