The Power of Prophetic Declarations

Fast Time: Tuesdays 6am-6pm

Thank you for your willingness to participate in what God is doing! Above all, please be Spirit-led as you fast. PLease note that this is the designated timeframe set forth by the Shine Empowerment Netowrk. You are invited- but not required- to join us in any way that you can. If you have a medical condition that prevents a complete fast, then please look for another way to participate. Use wisdom and follow the Holy Spirit.

It Matters What You Say

Job 22:28, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”

Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat it’s’ fruit.”

Did you know your prayers matter? Prayer is communication with God. Prayer is one of the most powerful tools available to us when it comes to changing our lives through the words we speak. Prophetic declarations are often viewed in a different light than prayer. When in fact, the ability to decree future events in your life is not only a legitimate form of prayer, but one of the most practical and effective ways to engage. You, through prophetic declarations, have the opportunity to bring a shift in the atmosphere of your city, church, home, and personal life. You have power from the Most High and your prayers do matter!

One description of a “prophetic declaration” is “a trumpet sound that pushes back the darkness, that makes a way where there is no way.” What a powerful, descriptive picture of prayer. Through the study of God’s Word, I found that He has given us the authority to speak for Him. We are His voice in the earth. We are ambassadors of Christ. I also discovered that God has orchestrated a strategic time for prayers to break through. And by the power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord will prompt us to pray the right kind of prayer at that moment. Powerful things will happen as we participate with the Lord at these specific times. We must co-labor with Him in obedience. The Word doesn’t say “if” you pray, but “when” you pray.

God established the church on the earth to continue in the work of putting Satan under our feet as He has already put Satan under His feet. Paul speaks in Ephesians of the work and power made available to the church. He says he was called to “bring to light…the mystery” hidden for ages in God “in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places” and declares that God “is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us” (Eph. 3:9-10,20, NASB).

Paul indicates that God is going to make known His wisdom through the church. According to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, the word “known” comes from the Greek verb gnoridzo. It means “to certify, to declare, make known, give to understand, to come to know, discover.” To “make known” means that God is going to use the church to make declarations to the demonic rulers and authorities.

Making declarations is the same as making prophetic proclamations. The Hebrew word for proclaim, qara, means “to call out to, call forth, cry unto, invite or preach. It is usually addressed to a specific recipient and intended to elicit a specific response. Rarely does it refer to a random outcry” (Zodhiates, “Lexical Aids to the Old Testament,” Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible, AMG Pubs.).

The Greek language has several words for “proclaim.” One of them is katagello, which Zodhiates says means “to tell, to declare plainly, openly, or aloud.” Katagello has the sense of an offer of information or encouragement. Another Greek word for “proclaim” that Zodhiates defines is kerusso, a much stronger word. It means “to be a herald.”

A herald was a public crier who was a speaker of divine truth. The message delivered by the crier was a public and authoritative announcement that demanded compliance. When you kerusso, you are like a town crier making an announcement that requires the hearers to comply. How powerful!

Town Criers

Today public heralds have been replaced by newspapers, television and other electronic information sources. Perhaps the best known town crier in all of American history is Paul Revere. However, the tradition predates his famed ride from Boston to Lexington and carries great significance for us today.

Attendants and friends. In Greek literature the public crier was the attendant of a prince—but not just an ordinary attendant. Raised above the status of other servants, the crier was given a respect and status similar to a friend. As believers, we serve the Prince of Peace. Yet Jesus said, “‘No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My father I have made known to you’” (John 15:15). In this, Prince Jesus has raised us to a status like that of the town crier—we are His friends.

He says that He will make known to us everything He has heard from the Father. The Greek word meaning “make known” is the same word used in Ephesians 3:10. What does that mean to us as intercessors?

  • It means we are not giving just a random outcry, but we are participating in a process released from heaven.
  • God the Father makes known (gnoridzo) His intentions to Jesus.
  • Jesus makes known (gnoridzo) the Father’s intentions to the church.
  • The church makes known (gnoridzo) the intentions of God to the evil powers through proclamation (kerusso).
  • The result? Breakthrough!

Deputies of the prince. A town crier was given a herald’s staff. The scepter in his hands made it clear that as he carried out his commission, he did so under the prince’s authorization. When Jesus rose victorious from the grave, He took back the authority man had given away in the garden. Jesus then turned and gave the authority He purchased to those who would follow Him, declaring that whatever they bound or loosed on earth would be so also in heaven (see Matt. 16:19).

Proclamation carries with it a nature of binding, commanding and settling. Zodhiates says the word “bind” means “to fasten or to tie up with chains or a cord.” Prophetic proclamations released through the mouths of intercessors have the ability to tie up the effect of evil powers like an animal tied with chains or a cord.
The verb translated “loose,” according to Zodhiates, means “to loosen, break up, destroy, dissolve, unloose, melt or put off.” When you loose the powers of darkness from a situation, person or city, the enemy is no longer able to do what he intended to do.

Protected heralds. The Greeks believed that a herald who came in wartime must not be touched. If he were, the one who touched him would incur the wrath of both the one who sent the crier and his gods.
The security of the intercessor is his faith in the powerful blood of Jesus. Intercessors are on assignment in a spiritual war. They have been sent by the Captain of the Hosts to do His bidding. A scepter of authority has been given to them, and they are to rule in the earth.

Crier Characteristics

There are some general characteristics that apply to all public criers, historical and current.

Under authority. A crier was always under the authority of someone else. The crier was only the spokesman. Intercessors should always be under the authority of the Lord. A submissive spirit is vital. We also need to submit to others (see Eph. 5:21). No person is above the need for accountability. Each of us has blind spots. We need those who love us enough to tell us the truth.

Convey the message of the master. The crier was not to deliver his own message or compromise with the one who was receiving it. He simply delivered the message he was sent to speak. Often, I find people who were, at one time, very powerful in prayer. As difficulties came into their lives, they retreated and stopped involving themselves with the body of Christ. But an intercessor cannot compromise with the enemy during a spiritual battle.

Announce judicial verdicts. What the public crier announced became valid by the act of proclamation. Likewise, Jesus the righteous Judge hands the verdict to the intercessor, who then delivers a prophetic proclamation to the evil powers. The verdict becomes valid through the proclamation spoken by the intercessor.

Jesus said, “‘What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim [kerusso] upon the housetops’” (Matt. 10:27).

In 2 Timothy, Paul wrote: “The Lord stood with me, and strengthened me, in order that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the lion’s mouth” (4:17).

When intercessors are given the right word to speak at the proper time, there will be great victory and spiritual breakthroughs. There will be deliverance for God’s people, for cities and for nations. God will provide strength to intercessors so that they can do the will of the Lord.

Jesus will make known to you the intentions of His Father. Let Him strengthen you so that the prophetic proclamation of His Word can go forth from your mouth without compromise and establish His will on the earth.

“It’s imperative to understand that your present declarations are becoming your future manifestations. What you say today is creating your tomorrow.”

Important Things To Remember When Making Decrees

  1.  Use the word of God as your basis. So when I declare a thing over my life, I speak it in the now with applicable biblical context to back what I’m saying.
  2. The next step is to identify your problem, find the proper scripture to apply to that situation, and speak the antithesis of what you are going through.

An Example Of Praying With Prophetic Declaration

Father in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that I am now healed according to your word. I confess according to Isaiah 53:5 that by your stripes I am already healed. I declare that according to 3 John 2, above all things I prosper, I am in health, even as my soul prospers. I thank you that I now walk in divine health. “

I implore you today to identify the areas of your life that you are ready for God to invade. Whether it is health, deliverance for yourself or a loved one, financial breakthrough, or a complete overhaul of your life, find the scriptures that relate to your desires and speak it as if you already have it in the present tense. Then praise God for it until what’s in the spirit manifest in the natural. Remember, it’s already done!

A Word From Christy

Fellow Believers and Prayer Warriors, you can’t quit now! The Lord is calling us to return to those things that we know to do: to pick back up the things that we may have laid down due to distractions, weariness, or even busyness. Remember, we have already been handed the victory, we just have to agree with it, declare it, and then stand in it. The Lord is faithful and true. He has marked breakthroughs for this time. We must receive His word and choose to believe. May this Tuesday of prayer and fasting truly bring breakthrough to your life, your family, your city, and your nation. Transformation Tuesday, it is ON! “Lord, refresh your people. Father, re-ignite the Holy Spirit within us that we may SHINE brightly for YOU! I the name of Jesus, Amen.”

Shining Brightly for the King,

Discover Your Identity Teaching

Psalm 139:13 (NLT) says “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

It is so important to know who you are. I’m not talking about who you were told you were by your parents, what society labeled you, or even what you think about yourself. I’m talking about what the One who created you says about you. He, after all, knows you intricately, right?

In Psalm 139:13, the Psalmist talks about God knowing you even before you were placed within your mother’s belly. The first person to know you was the first person to create you. Genesis 1:27 says that “God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them ; male and female he created them.” So perhaps the questions isn’t who you are, but rather whose you are.

Children around the world who have been adopted at some point long to know who their birth parents are. They want to know: who do I look like, where do these mannerisms come from, why do I like such and such, why do I do the things I do, and even what’s my family history? It is normal to want to know the ones who created you. Likewise, God has put a longing on the inside of us to know Him. We try to fill it daily through many different forms, but apart from Him none of these things satisfy. You will discover your purpose when you discover the One who created you.

The declarations above are collection of Scriptures that declare who He says you are. It is like food to your soul. It is who He is and since you are made in His image, it is who YOU were created to be. I encourage you to speak these out loud. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” We need to hear the word of God spoken. Not only do we need to hear it, so that faith can become strengthen, but the enemy needs to hear us declaring it as well. The enemy may know “Sister So and So,” but he needs to know that YOU believe the Word as well. At the point that you get tired of being pushed around by the enemy, is the point that he has to flee. God’s word will not return void, let it shine light into your being today and bring Him in you OUT! Folks, it’s time to “arise and shine!”

A Prayer of Power

This week ask God to shine His light into every area of your life so that you can walk in total freedom and transparency before Him. Ask Him to use you to carry his truth and His presence to those you influence. Pray that a great awakening would spread throughout our nation and that God would purge His church and our government from all unrighteousness. Ask Him to pour His Spirit on all nations and manifest His glory on the earth. Continue to pray for those persecuted for His Name’s sake, that Israel would fulfill God’s purposes in this hour, and that the church would rise up in prayer, unity and purpose to impact the world (John 1:3-4; John 3:16; John 6:47).

Transformation Tuesdays: Fasting Guidelines

Fast Time: Tuesdays 6am-6pm

Thank you for your willingness to participate in what God is doing! Above all, please be Spirit-led as you fast. PLease note that this is the designated timeframe set forth by the Shine Empowerment Netowrk. You are invited- but not required- to join us in any way that you can. If you have a medical condition that prevents a complete fast, then please look for another way to participate. Use wisdom and follow the Holy Spirit.

Biblical Fasting Teaching

Isaiah 58:6 says “Is this not the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?”

Matthew 6:17-18 says, “But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.”

Several months ago, the Lord began speaking to me about the power of prayer and fasting. When the two are combined there is power released. Power over our flesh, power over the enemy, and power in positioning us for breakthrough. Once you combine the power of unity to these two principles found in the Word, well, things start happening. I want to focus on fasting in this article.

What Is Biblical Fasting?

First of all, let’s look at the root word which is used for “fasting.” The Greek word for fasting is nesteia — a compound of ne (a negative prefix) and esthio which means “to eat.” So the basic root meaning of the word simply means “not to eat.”

But what does this “not eating” food mean? Why did people in the Bible “not eat?” Leviticus 16:29 says that fasting is synonymous with “afflicting one’s soul.”  We gain some insight here about how the Hebrews viewed fasting. Fasting is more than just “afflicting one’s body.” It is “afflicting one’s soul.” In other words, fasting in the Hebrew mind is something my soul participates in. Fasting is denying myself. It is denying not only my own body, but also my own wants. It is a way of saying that food and my desires are secondary to something else. Fasting is “afflicting one’s soul” — an act of self-denial.

Jesus said, “The spirit is . . . willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matt. 26:41). Fasting is a means of bringing the flesh into submission to the Lord so He can strengthen us in our mastery over our own selves. Abstaining from food is often God’s way of showing that His desire for us is that we regain mastery over all things associated with our flesh in order to subdue our flesh and elevate our emphasis on spiritual matters. God’s promise is to help us as we overcome the flesh and put all carnal temptations into subjection.

Biblical fasting is “not eating” with spiritual communication in mind. How do we know this? Because Biblical fasting always occurs together with prayer in the Bible. Biblical fasting is deliberately abstaining from food for a spiritual reason: communication and relationship with the Father.

8 Examples of Biblical Fasting

1)     The Disciple’s Fast (Mark 9:14-29)
Principle: Fasting gives us strength to experience God’s deliverance.
2)     The Ezra Fast (Ezra 8:21-23)
Principle: Fasting calls on God for protection.
3)     The Samuel Fast (I Samuel 7:2-13)
Principle: Fasting dethrones idols.
4)     The Elijah Fast (I Kings 19:1-9)
Principle: Fasting helps break negative emotions.
5)     The Paul Fast (Acts 9:1-22)
Principle: Fasting prepares us for transformation.
6)     The Daniel Fast (Daniel 1:8-20, Daniel 10:1-3)
Principle: Fasting gives us knowledge and understanding.
7)     The John the Baptist Fast (Matthew 3:4)
Principle: Fasting sets us apart from the world.
8)     The Esther Fast (Esther 4:10-17)
Principle: Fasting opens the door to God’s favor.

General Types of Fasts

  • The Normal Fast: There are very few rules when it comes to fasting. What you do is really between you and the Lord. There is only one fast command in the Bible and that was the fast on the Day of Atonement. This fast was from sunset of one day to sunset of the next (Leviticus 16:29;23:32) You can eat again in the evening before retiring to bed. So in this type of fast the person abstained from food and liquid for a period of one day (from sunset to sunset). This is a normal fast.
  • The Partial Fast: In this type of fast, the emphasis is placed on restriction of diet, rather than abstaining completely from eating. Examples are: Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego eating only vegetables and drinking only water (Daniel 1:15) and later on when Daniel alone practiced a limited diet for three weeks (Daniel 10:3). This is also known as the Daniel Fast.
  • The Radical/Complete Fast: This type of fast is one in which the person refrains from both food and water OR simply food (but not water) for an extended period of time. A radical fast can be harmful to your health and in most cases should not exceed three days. An example of a radical fast can be found with Esther and her household. Esther decided to fast for three days abstaining from both “food and water” both “day and night” (Esther 4:15-16). The rabbi Ezra and the apostle Paul also went without food and water for three days (Ezra 10:6-9; Acts 9:9). David is another example of a radical fast. He went seven days without food (but probably with liquid) as a plea to God to save the life of his child (2 Samuel 12:15-20). Fasts that extend beyond three or seven days can be found in the Bible, but these exceptions were based upon direct guidance from God or a supernatural ability given by God to complete the fast. Examples of these extreme fasts are: Moses (Deuteronomy 9:9-18 and Exodus 34:28); Elijah (1 Kings 19:8); and Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11).

Why Fast?

God said, “When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you” (Jeremiah 29:13,14). When a man or woman is willing to set aside the legitimate appetites of the body to concentrate on the work of praying, they are demonstrating that they mean business, that they are seeking God with all their heart.

Fasting is an expression of wholeheartedness. This is clear from Joel’s call to the nation of Israel: “Yet even now,” says the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting. . .” (Joel 2:12).

Andrew Murray said, “Fasting helps to express, to deepen, and to confirm the resolution that we are ready to sacrifice anything – to sacrifice ourselves – to attain what we seek for the kingdom of God.

Fasting is assumed by the New Testament: When Jesus spoke about fasting, he didn’t say IF you fast, but “WHEN you fast” (Matthew 6:16). Our Lord assumes that Christians will fast. And from the rest of the books in the New Testament we know that they did.

I want to encourage every believer to fast and pray for two very important reasons:

  1. The Scriptures Teach Us to Fast and Pray

The Bible has a great deal to say about both fasting and praying, including commands to fast and pray. The Bible also gives us examples of people who fasted and prayed, using different types of fasts for different reasons, all of which are very positive results. Jesus fasted and prayed. Jesus’ disciples fasted and prayed after the Resurrection. Many of the Old Testament heroes and heroines of the faith fasted and prayed. The followers of John the Baptist fasted and prayed. Many people in the early church fasted and prayed. What the Scriptures have taught us directly and by the examples of the saints is surely something we are to do.

  1. Fasting and Prayer Put You into the Best Possible Position for a Breakthrough

That breakthrough might be in the realm of the spirit. It may be in the realm of your emotions or personal habits. It may be in the realm of a very practical area of life, such as a relationship or finances. What I have seen repeatedly through the years-not only in the Scriptures but in countless personal stories that others have told me — is that periods of fasting and prayer produce great spiritual results, many of which fall into the realm of a breakthrough.

What You Could Possibly Experience Physically

When you fast your body detoxifies, eliminating toxins from your system. This can cause mild discomfort such as headaches and irritability during withdrawal from caffeine and sugars. And naturally, you will have hunger pains. Limit your activity and exercise moderately if possible. We know that most people work during the week. If you can, try to take time to rest. Fasting brings about miraculous results. You are following Jesus’ example when you fast. Spend time listening to praise and worship. Pray as often as you can throughout the day. Get away from the normal distractions as much as possible and keep your heart and mind set on seeking God’s face.

I pray that this article has encouraged you and enlightened you in the area of fasting. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for breakthrough. It is time to arise and shine! May Tuesday truly bring transformation!

Scriptures and Declarations for Fasting

Fast Time: Tuesdays 6am-6pm

Thank you for your willingness to participate in what God is doing! Above all, please be Spirit-led as you fast. Please note that this is the designated timeframe set forth by the Shine Empowerment Network. You are invited — but not required — to join us in any way that you can. If you have a medical condition that prevents a complete fast, then please look for another way to participate. Use wisdom and follow the Holy Spirit.

Monthly Scripture: Isaiah 60

1“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the Lord.
All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lordam thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lordshall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.”

Teaching: Walking in a Priestly Anointing

Job 22:28 says “Thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”

This scripture refers to your kingly anointing. A king does not beg or cry for anything. A king has legal power to decree, which is an old English word for legislate. David proves to us that a decree is pregnant with potential and promise. It will incubate in the atmosphere until the appropriate and optimum time to manifest. Once you make a Scriptural decree, heaven and its’ hosts ensure that it come to pass. His word will not return void.

Study the story of David. He made a decree over the uncircumcised Philistine. This story proves that what you don’t have heaven will have to provide according to your decree. David showed up with a sling-shot and five small stones. However, he decreed that he would sever the head of Goliath. How was he going to do this with a few stones?  Heaven made it possible — to touch and agree with his decree. The book of James in the New Testament tells us that life and death is in the power of the tongue.

Proverbs 18:20 says. “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.”

From this day forward, watch what you saySelf-defeating words affect your destiny and bring death. Do not verbalize your complaints, they can alter your trajectory of destiny. Today, download success into your day by speaking and decreeing: life, success, prosperity, health, greatness, love, repentance, joy, peace, salvation, and wholeness into your life.  Let’s change the trajectories of our life by praying the prayer of victory and make these declarations over our life.

A Prayer of Victory

“O Lord, King of kings and Lord of lords, I honor You today. Today, I take authority over my thoughts and cast down every vain imagination. I declare that vain imagination be brought into the obedience of Christ–His unadulterated Word (2 Corinthians 10:5). Every idle word, capricious thought, and word that I have spoken ignorantly into the atmosphere, I denounce it and pull it out of the atmosphere today. I prohibit the hijacking of my thoughts and command that I only think on things that are good, and of a good report. I loose off of me any symptoms of sickness and I bind every infirmity. I am healed by the blood of Jesus and sickness is far from me.

The weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but there are mighty through God, to the pulling down strong-holds. Therefore, I pull down every stronghold that has delayed and hindered the promise of God in my life (2 Corinthians 10:4).  I take authority of every evil spirit and command it to get out of my sphere. Lord contend with those who contend with me and fight against those who fight against me. (Isaiah 49:25). Teach my hands to war and my finger to fight (Psalms 144:1).  Lord take hold of the shield and buckler and stand up for my help! Lord secure my feet; give me hinds feet to stand in my high places (Psalms 18:33). Lord dismantle the plots and plans of the enemy. I veto and dismantle every diabolical ordinance. I replace every ill spoken word with the Word of the Lord concerning my life, ministry, family, friends, and business.

Today, I walk in the timing of the Lord. Every blessing with my name on comes to me without delay. I decree and declare that all things from my Father comes to me in their correct time and season. I shall not accept any substitutes. I will not be denied of what rightfully belongs to me. My God has brought me into a wealthy place and I roam where the kings roam. I decree and declare that my set time of favor with man and God is now! This is my best day and my blessed day. O Lord, close every gate where the enemy has access to frustrate the blessings you have set for me.  Everyone who is assigned to pray for me, work with me, bless me; open the two-leave gates and make room for them to find me. I allow the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty access. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

I decree and declare that my day will cooperate and operate with purpose. My assignments from God will be carried out with power and the anointing of the Lord. I confess I only progress; everything that I touch turns into prophetic gold. I decree and declare that there is no lack, and I walk with privileges and favor. God blesses the work of my hand. Wherever I go, wherever I live, systems, codifications, charter, etc. must change to accommodate the purpose of God in my life, ministry and business. I am a successful believer and I bind the spirit of procrastination. I thank you Father that Shine Empowerment Network arises and shines.

I have the anointing of Daniel– an excellent spirit. I am connected to individuals that will gird up my vision, and those who will make deposits into my vision. I have the anointing of John the Baptist–a trailblazing kingdom builder. I have the anointing of Joseph for leadership. Lord place the following anointings upon me; activate them and let them flow uncontaminated and unhindered:

I decree that God gives me wisdom and understanding in every area of my life, family, and ministry. I am the apple of my Fathers eye and I dwell in the secret place of the most High. I sit in heavily places. God directs my prayers, He leads me into the path of righteousness.  My prayers are above principalities. They hit the target and I do not pray amiss. Amen!

“Blind” A Biblical Perspective on Sexual Purity

Blind

A Biblical Perspective on Sexual Purity

  • 50% of America is affected by it.
  • More money is spent on it annually than all the money spent on professional football, professional baseball, and professional basketball, combined.
  • 57 million hits a day are clicking on websites containing it.
  • 4 out of 10 pastors are struggling with it!
  • What is it? It’s America’s #1 addiction: Pornography.

5 out of 10 teens will become sexually active before they get married. 1 out of 4 of those teens will contract a sexually transmitted disease. 2 out of 10 girls become sexually active will get pregnant, and half of those babies will be aborted or miscarried.

How do we overcome porn and sexual immorality? What can we do to avoid it? How can we be healed from it? Is it okay to think about sex? What is okay to do? What does the Bible say about sex?

Blind is a men’s Bible study series for single and married men. Shawn Patrick conducts these seminars.

Raise the Wall Prayer Initiative

Raise the Wall Prayer Initiative

PageLines- raise-the-wall-art.jpg

Since 1963 the prayer wall has been slowly dismantled in America. Due to the effort to take prayer out of schools, efforts to take the Bible out of our national heritage, and the attack on freedom of speech as we know it, socialism is knocking on America’s door and the moral fabric of our nation has been slowly unwound!

From 1963 until today, there has been a 500% increase in teen violence, a 400% increase in the occult, 50% of teens are having sex, 67% of teens that grow up in a Christian home leave the faith when attending a secular university, and more teens have lost their lives to suicide than all the American combat casualties in the Vietnam war! Schools shootings are not uncommon on our universities any longer! The prayer wall has fallen around America! Will you “Raise the Wall”?

Raise the Wall is a multi-level prayer initiative that Warrior Nations has launched in the churches of America. Shawn Patrick teaches a seminar based out of the book of Nehemiah and lays out a simple multi-level prayer initiative for any church to apply with their congregation.

“So we built the wall, and all the wall was joined together … for the people had a mind to work.”

Nehemiah 4:6 KJV

“This prayer initiative has joined our church together a level of prayer that we have never experienced before.”

Rethinking Evangelism Delivering The Gospel Out Side The Box

What is the number one reason that people come to church? What are the
characteristics of a church that has 70% or higher retention rates? What pattern
do we have in the Bible for the explosion of the New Testament Church
evangelism? How can the Church become relevant and beneficial to the
community it serves without compromising the great commission? How can
the internet and viral type methods of communication help catapult your
church into a modern evangelistic atmosphere? Why are the fastest growing
religious organizations in the world out growing the local churches at top rates?
Why is the traditional role of an evangelist still a critical evangelistic
component in the modern church?
“Rethinking Evangelism” will answer those questions and lay out a Biblical,
proven strategy of long term growth in your church. Most churches do not
grow, because they are not structured for growth. “Rethinking Evangelism” is
geared to create an atmosphere of evangelism in the church. “Rethinking
Evangelism” will give you fresh insights into what the top growing churches
in the Nation are doing and help you lay out a strategy for the evangelism that
fits the character of your congregation.
