Raise That Wall
“Raise That Wall, Raise That Wall” chanted the supporters of our newly elected President Donald Trump in the November campaigning period. I felt such a sense of urgency, as many of my constituents did, to pray fervently for America and the elections. I was able to lead five prayer rallies in five states over the two weeks leading up to Election Day. As the days grew near for the election many could feel a deep warfare taking place in the spirit realm. I have never seen such a unity in the Body of Christ as I did during this time. Our nation was and is under attack not only in the natural, but also in the supernatural.
Watching the presidential inauguration was a relief for many. My 77-year-old mother said in all of her life she had never seen Jesus Christ lifted up as much as He was in this ceremony. In the midst of watching this the Lord spoke to me. “Son, Donald Trump needs your prayers after this election more than he did before it because of the spiritual warfare that is coming to him and America.”

All truth is parallel. What happens in the spirit will manifest in the natural. We began to hear the cry, “Secure our Borders,” and we sensed more warfare around this cry from around the world as well. God began to deal with me about this critical moment in our nation. Satan is trying to release a final blow of terror over America. I believe that there are multiple plans from pockets of Islamic extremists to attack America on a scale larger than 9/11. The Holy Spirit started to reveal that the enemy is trying to release multiple waves of terror on America in this season. The devil wants to use ISIS to release a simultaneous attack in every major city to cause America to be overcome with a spirit of fear like never before in history. Overnight small town America would double in size because of the mass exodus of Americans leaving major cities.

God began to deal with me about the ability of the church to reverse Satan’s plans through the Power of prayer. God began to give me a revelation on how the church needs to raise the wall in the spirit realm around our nation in the very critical hour to stop the plans of the enemy, just like in the book of Nehemiah.
I want to share with you an exciting new project our ministry is about to release. It’s called, “Raise the Wall.” We have been conducting this outreach in local churches for years, but now we are bringing the concept to you! We feel the urgency in the Spirit for this project to come out on a broader level.
The average American Christian prays one minute a day, and the average Christian pastor prays five minutes a day. Since 1963 the prayer wall has been slowly dismantled in America. We have seen the effort to take prayer out of schools, the effort to take the Bible out of our national heritage, and attacks on freedom of speech as we know it. Godless socialism and secularism are knocking on America’s door, and the moral fabric of our nation is being unraveled!
From 1963 until today, there has been a 500% increase in teen violence, a 400% increase in the occult, 50% of teens are having sex, 67% of teens that grow up in a Christian home leave the faith when attending a secular university, and more teens have lost their lives to suicide than all the American combat casualties in the Vietnam war! Schools shootings are not uncommon on our universities any longer! The prayer wall has fallen around America! Will you “Raise the Wall”?
“Raise the Wall” is a multi-level prayer initiative that Warrior Nations has launched in churches of America. Shawn Patrick teaches a seminar based out of the book of Nehemiah and lays out a simple multi-level prayer initiative for any church to apply within their congregation. The “Raise the Wall” 52 day prayer journal is a guide for individuals, families, churches and cities to raise the wall of prayer back around America.

In this journal there are two pages for each day. One page is to write your prayer request, but the second page it to write down what the Holy Spirit it saying to you. I firmly believe prayer is a dialogue, not a monologue. It’s a two-way conversation. My prayer is that whatever your prayer life is like, this project would inspire you to go deeper with Jesus Christ through the power of prayer. God did something so powerful for an entire nation through Nehemiah in just 52 days. What could God do for your situation, family, church and city if you give Him 52 days of prayer?
Warrior Nations International Ministries facilitates a Raise The Wall weekend for churches. This involves a Saturday night teaching session on prayer fundamentals from Nehemiah. We follow up in the Sunday morning service by teaching ten prayer principles. We ask the entire church to sign a commitment card to pray through seven points as a family for the 52 days. On Sunday night we have a special prayer service with the prayer group and help set up focus and structure for the group. Then we have a special time of ministry over the prayer team as we ask for an impartation for powerful prayer.
